Boston SCORES is led by a headquarters staff of 19 that possesses deep experience in youth development and share a commitment to a just and equitable future for all.
Members of our staff manage more than 120 Coach-Mentors who deliver our programs at Boston Public Schools and community partner sites. Coach-Mentors are recruited from the current teaching staff at the schools where we deliver our programs as well as from the local community and area colleges and universities.

Ive joined Boston SCORES in 2013. She is responsible for overseeing and approving Scores academic curricula at each age level and is the point person for our partnerships with Boston Public Schools and Boston After School & Beyond. She is a Massachusetts certified teacher in History for grade levels 5-12. Ive has classroom experience teaching middle school and high school Social Studies. Ive earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Boston University and a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership & Management from Northeastern. Her favorite team is Manchester United.
Ethan came to Boston SCORES as an AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow in 2014. Ethan is responsible for the overall execution of our soccer programs across all age levels and locations, leads our high school soccer program and supports our community-based programs. Prior to joining Scores, Ethan was a soccer coach and English teacher in Israel with Yahel Learning Service. He played soccer at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology.
Allison originally joined Boston SCORES in 2016. After taking a break for a couple of years to start a family, Allison returned in the spring of 2022 and came back full-time later that year. As the Director of Coach Training, she is responsible for the creation of new Boston Scores programming in East Boston as well as overseeing all of our coach training initiatives. Allison is a life-long soccer player and played collegiate soccer at Springfield College. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from Northeastern University and coached the Girl’s Varsity Soccer team at Medford High School.
Allison joined Boston Scores in 2024 and currently serves as the Director of Community Programs. She oversees our community-based programs in East Boston including all SCORES vacation programs and our recreational soccer club, East Boston FC. Allison played soccer at the University of Connecticut where she majored in Exercise Science. After graduating, she was an assistant women’s soccer coach at the University of Hartford, Seton Hall and Boston University. Allison is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, holds a USSF D License, and a Precise Nutrition Level 1 Coach Certification. Her favorite team is Liverpool and she was once proudly published as an elementary school poet!
Gaby joined Boston SCORES in 2020. Gaby oversees our middle school and high school enrichment programs, including supporting our One Hen coach-mentors and teams in the creation of their small businesses. Gaby played field hockey at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology. Gaby has extensive experience working with middle and high school youth in the after-school arena in her previous roles at Scholar Athletes and Girls Inc. of Worcester.
Mariel joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and oversees program and facility operations. Prior to SCORES, she gained experience working in professional sports managing partnerships and game day operations for the New England Free Jacks. Mariel played soccer at Dartmouth College where she graduated with a degree in Film and Media. She also has a Master’s in Marketing from the University of St. Andrews.
Brandon joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and is responsible for managing all data collection and analysis for soccer and enrichment programs. He has experience working with youth organizations in both a sports and community setting. Brandon played volleyball in college and now serves as an assistant coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he earned his M.S. in Data Science.
Rebeca joined Boston SCORES in 2023 and is responsible for supporting mentor-coaches and students through our Power of Poetry curriculum. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in History and Spanish where she uncovered her love for multimedia storytelling and desire to support young people as they unearth and share their stories. Through work in the nonprofit space, she has also supported young folks and their families in Eastie with fitness practices. During her time at Boston SCORES, she hopes to use poetry as a vehicle for students to uncover their sense of identity, connect with others, and express transformative ideas.
Taylor joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and oversees soccer programs for elementary sites. A recent graduate from the University of New Hampshire, Taylor worked with the women’s basketball team and the athletic communications department. Additionally, Taylor has experience in coaching youth soccer, basketball and flag football for various recreation and travel teams. Most recently she worked for HUB Sports Boston where she oversaw operations for pickleball, soccer, softball and volleyball. Taylor is a fanatic for just about any women’s sport, but is most commonly found reciting the highlights of college basketball matchups.
Gabby joined Boston Scores in 2025 and oversees various community programs including EBFC Grassroots and school vacation camps. She graduated from the City College of New York with a degree in English, where she was also captain of the women’s soccer team. Prior to Boston Scores, she worked as an educational assistant and instructor in a variety of settings. Additionally, Gabby has experience coaching youth soccer in Massachusetts and New York.
Elizabeth joined Boston SCORES in 2025, bringing with her over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience and a strong track record of expanding development efforts across Boston-based organizations. She leads fundraising strategy with a focus on authentic relationship building and revenue growth across diverse streams. Elizabeth holds degrees in Public Health and Nonprofit Management and is a fierce advocate for enriching children’s lives through multifaceted approaches. Elizabeth’s lifelong involvement in sports, service learning, and education initiatives has provided her with a deep appreciate of the importance of creating supportive, empowering environments for young people, both on and off the field.
Emma joined Boston SCORES in 2025 and leads the organization’s strategy and relationship management for corporate and institutional sponsorships. With a strong background in nonprofit development in Boston, she brings experience in building meaningful partnerships that advance mission-driven work. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Emma grew up with a love of soccer and now enjoys playing tennis and cycling in her free time.
Erik joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and supports the development team with corporate partnerships and individual gifts. After graduating from UMass Amherst with a degree in communications, Erik worked in sales at Oracle. He also serves as director of a youth soccer program in Braintree where he both coaches and manages soccer programming. Erik enjoys R&B, hip hop and Latin music, and his favorite team is Real Madrid.
Kenzie joined Boston SCORES in 2024 as a Development Coordinator and now serves as the organization’s Engagement Manager. She leads Boston SCORES’ event logistics, development operations, and brand communications, serving as a bridge between development strategy and public engagement. Originally from Minnesota, Kenzie grew up playing and coaching soccer at her local club. She is a graduate of Boston University with a BA in Political Science. Prior to joining SCORES, she spent a year serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Chelsea, MA.
John is responsible for the overall executive management of Boston SCORES, including Board stewardship, partnerships, strategic relationships and major donor advancement. Prior to joining Boston SCORES, John held Executive Director positions with Courageous Sailing and The Barton Center for Diabetes Education. In addition to his non-profit experience, he practiced law for ten years in both private practice and as in-house counsel. John is a graduate of the UMass Amherst and the Boston University School of Law.
David joined the Boston SCORES team in 2022 as our Finance Associate and now serves as Manager of Finance and Administration. He has over eight years of local non-profit experience, including previous work at Community Art Center in Cambridge and United South End Settlements in Boston. David originally hails from Canton, Ohio, and has a degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati and Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. An avid sports fan, his favorite athlete is Sauce Gardner.
Co-Director of Festival 26, Corporate Partnerships
With over two decades of experience at Jennison Associates as Credit Trader and Managing Director, Johanna Okoshi built an accomplished career in fixed income credit trading and leadership within the financial sector. A graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics, Johanna also holds an MBA in Finance from Boston University’s School of Management. She’s been involved with Boston Scores for nearly a decade in different capacities including co-chair capital campaign, Board Member, co-chair of celebration gala and now co-director of Festival 26. Johanna is a mom of three, avid tennis player and also coaches Charlestown Youth Lacrosse. She lives in the South End of Boston with her family.
As a multilingual (French/Spanish) project manager, Audrey oversees delegation support and program planning for Festival 26, an international youth festival held in collaboration with Sport dans la Ville during the 2026 World Cup. Audrey joined the team in summer 2025 representing Sport dans la Ville. Her previous work at organizations like the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) prepared her to lead international teams and event logistics for global participants. She is a graduate of the Institute of Intercultural Management & Communications (ISIT Paris), where she earned an MA in International Relations & Diplomacy.
Festival 26 Coordinator
Ish joined Boston Scores in 2025 as Festival 26 Coordinator, helping bring to life an unforgettable global celebration of soccer during the FIFA World Cup in Boston. A seasoned marketing professional with experience in event planning and partnerships across para sports, Ish has championed equity and inclusion on the world stage, covering the Rio 2016 Paralympics as a volunteer journalist and representing a roster of athletes at Paris 2024 as a sports agent. Now, she is excited to channel her passion for storytelling and expertise in event planning into welcoming 400 youth from around the world to Boston for Festival 26.
