Head Soccer Coaches (Paid)

• Oversee all aspects of soccer practices and games
• Choose from 4rd-6th grade or 7th-8th grade age groups
• Familiarity with the basic rules, positions and tactics of soccer is helpful for 4th-6th grade age group and necessary for 7th-8th grade age group.
• Paid coach training provided prior to each season.
• Head Coach must be able attend all or virtually all scheduled practice sessions & games during a season.
• Typical time commitment is 2-4 afternoon sessions per week
• Fall season is mid-September to early November
• Spring season is late March to early June
• Positions are available in neighborhoods all across the city.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check is required

Assistant Soccer Coaches (Volunteer)

• Support coaching staff at practices and/or games
• Choose from 3rd-5th grade or 6th-8th grade age groups
• Some soccer familiarity is helpful but nor required
• Volunteers should commit to a minimum one session/week
• Practices and games are typically in mid/late afternoons or weekdays in neighborhoods throughout Boston
• Fall season is mid-September to early November
• Spring season is late March to early June
• Positions are available in neighborhoods all across the city
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Background check is required
